So how do I work 50 hours a week, run a business, partake in two non-profit organizations, read for leisure, exercise, spend quality time with people I care about, study for graduate school, work on other business projects, watch my favorite TV shows, feed my turtles, eat and still find time to sleep?

Simple.

I plan.

I plan with a planner. In it, I write down everything that’s important to me. My planner is filled with my dreams and desires. It’s filled with notes, reminders, appointments, deadlines, goals and future plans. And every night, before I go to sleep, I plan my day before the next day begins. You will rarely ever find me without my planner. I never waste time trying to remember things because I have my planner to count on.

I bring this up because I can easily tell if an old friend ‘misses me’ and ‘really wants to hang out’ by how they respond when I offer them a scheduled time to meet. Or, when people share their dreams and desires with me, but have no written evidence or plan to show for it.

If, and only if, you want your dreams to come true, you must become a master planner. If you want to improve your family life, financial career, your education, health, social life and spiritual life, you must become a master planner.

My life wouldn’t be where it is today if I didn’t commit to planning ahead. Almost everything in my life was intentional because I planned it that way. Even for things that I can’t control, I still find focus, direction and success.

If you need more reasons as to why you need to plan, let me refer you to my amazing best friends whom all have planners as well.

Plan your life - or someone else will.
